    How do you even daisy chain, given the devices only have 1 connector?  Say you wanted to daisychain a keypad in between the M1G and a input expander.  Its not like the keypad has an additional connector to plug the expander into to complete the daisy chain.

    The keypad doc shows another diagram with splicing, but IMO this isnt really daisy chaining.  In the case of a splice, you're not passing through the keypad like the diagram shows.

    But if they are using the term daisy chain to mean splicing off of a keypad connection just before the cable gets to the keypad, then I assume the "end device" that you should then jumper to term the bus then is really just the device the longest distance from the splice?
